Planning & work cadences

I like to follow 3 key cadences for company planning:

  1. Quarterly - Set goals & big metrics to align on
  2. Monthly - Break objectives down into projects that should forward company goals
  3. Weekly - Break projects down into what can be accomplished this week

OKRs, are the quarterly goals & big metrics. The projects you define below (and will schedule out here) will likely run for multiple weeks. We will further break down all of the projects here into wekly tasks, but they're much shorter duration and sit in a different part of the GMCC.

This is where you plan out the big month-long chunks that are the meat and potatoes of your strategy you want to make sure that the work doesn't overlap too much for a given team, have super long breaks, or bunch together too tightly at the end of your quarter.

Most of the projects here should take between 3 and 9 weeks, and you'll associate tasks with them in the Task Planning section later. Check regularly here to make sure that you keep your key projects top of mind as you plan out your weekly work.
